10 steps of service
A
- 30 Second friendly greet, introduce yourself by
name and ask the guest if they are 1st timers. - Offer a specific drink (upselling when possible)
and a specific appetizer. - Review weekly specials, guide guest through
menu by offering personal favorites and
demonstrate complete menu knowledge. - Maintain drink refills and table maintenance.
- Check back within 2 minutes of entrée delivery
for correctness and notify a manager of any
problems. - Mention a specific dessert or after dinner drink.
- Present check in a timely manner and pick up
payment method within 1 minute. Thank guest by name if they have paid by credit card or check. - Point out the daily promotion or upcoming special event (prior to entrée being delivered)
- Enthusiastically sell the guest on the uniqueness of the Champps experience.
10.Invite the guest to return, tell them your name and sincerely thank them for their patronage
