10 steps of service

A
  1. 30 Second friendly greet, introduce yourself by
    name and ask the guest if they are 1st timers.
  2. Offer a specific drink (upselling when possible)
    and a specific appetizer.
  3. Review weekly specials, guide guest through
    menu by offering personal favorites and
    demonstrate complete menu knowledge.
  4. Maintain drink refills and table maintenance.
  5. Check back within 2 minutes of entrée delivery
    for correctness and notify a manager of any
    problems.
  6. Mention a specific dessert or after dinner drink.
  7. Present check in a timely manner and pick up
    payment method within 1 minute. Thank guest by name if they have paid by credit card or check.
  8. Point out the daily promotion or upcoming special event (prior to entrée being delivered)
  9. Enthusiastically sell the guest on the uniqueness of the Champps experience.
    10.Invite the guest to return, tell them your name and sincerely thank them for their patronage
