Series And Parrallel Flashcards
What are the differences between series and parallel circuits(name 3 different point).
Parallel circuits have branches and if there is a gap on one of the branches or at the end of the circuit then the rest of it would work unlike series. On series the voltage is shared around the circuit but on parallel the voltage stays the same on every branch.
Name 1 advantages for series circuits?
It can be turned off by a switch anywhere in the circuit so can easily.
Name 1 disadvantage to a series circuit?
If one component fails then the whole series stops.
Name 1 disadvantage to a
Parallel circuits you are not able to increase the voltage.
Name one advantage of a parallel circuit.
If one component breaks then the circuit will keep going and will not stops.
