What is the separations if powers

A

The separation of powers are the divisions of responsibilities. This makes it much harder for one person to gain full control on the government or manipulate the government. Each power has a specific job and these sometimes overlap. It consist of legislative, executive and judiciary

A

Montesquieu was a famous French judge and a political philosopher. He can up with the idea that to stop the government coming corrupt, you must separate the government into powers. The separation of powers are now used in many constitutions over the world. He died in 1755
