Presbyopia
Visual loss in middle and older ages characterized by inability to focus properly and blurred images.
Low Vision
Visual impairment that standard eyeglasses, contact lenses, medication or surgery cannot correct.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration
“Black Spot” in the central visual field, blurred details and the sharp/central vision.
Diabetic Retinopathy
A complication of diabetes that affect the eyes. This is caused by damage to the blood vessels of the light-sensitive tissues at the back of the eye
Affects central and peripheral vision causing blurred or hazy vision in affected areas.
May lead to total blindness
Glaucoma
Chronic elevated pressure in the eye that may cause optic nerve atrophy and loss of peripheral vision
Commonly knowns as a Tunnel vision as it starts from peripheral visual fields and comest to center.
Cataracts
Vision is overall hazy and blurry especially in glaring light when reading printed materials
Decreased contrast sensitivity
Homonymous Hemianopsia
A visual field deficit in which half of the visual field is lost in each eye.
Diplopia
May require eye path.
