Q

Explain Sensor and Transducer

A

Sensor –> This is an element that senses a variation in input energy to produce a variation in same form of energy.

Transducer –> This device converts and strengthens a non electric signal into usually an electric signal.

Q

Explain Active and Passive Transducers

A

Active –> For this transducer to work, no external energy source is applied. Works on the principle of energy conversion.

Passive –> No External energy source is applied. Works on the principle of control of already provided voltage.
