Q

How do we hear?

A
  • Sound vibrates the ear drum
  • Ear drum moves the malleus → incus → stapes
  • Oval window → cochlea (P-E-P)

Q

How does the ear help us balance?

A
  • 3 semi-circular canals sense the movement of the body
  • Each semi-circular canal → contains a fluid which moves as we turn

→ is in a different plain
