What is the EU?
The EU is a group of countries whose governments work together.
What does the EU do?
The EU helps promote economic and social progress, to speak for the European Union on the international scene, to introduce European citizenship.
Why is Brexit an Issue?
Brexit is an issue because we have to wait 1 1/2 years for it to happen and nothing has changed just yet.
What is Brexit?
Brexit is when on the 23rd June 2016, 52% of the UK voted to leave the EU.
What is a drainage basin?
A drainage basin is an area that is drained by a river and its tributaries.
What is the Source of a river?
The source is where the river starts - usually upland area
What happens in the Catchment Area?
All the rain that falls in the surrounding area flows to the river. This area is the rivers Catchment Area.
What is the boundary of the drainage basin called?
The Watershed
What are Tributaries?
Streams or small rivers that flow into the big river.
What is a Confluence?
It is the point where a small river joins a larger one.
What is the river end called?
The Mouth
