What is the Australian Constitution?
The Australian Constitution is the rules for how our government should be run
What is the Right to a Fair Trial?
It means everyone gets an unbiased court trial and if a trial is deemed so it shall be restarted.
What is History?
History is piecing previous events back together using historical evidence such as artefacts.

What jobs did plebeians have?
Plebeians were artisans who did trade work like making swords or weapons. Plebeians did the jobs slaves were not trusted to do or did not have the skills to do.
What does a bicameral system of government mean?
A bicameral system of government means that there are 2 houses of parliament the Lower House and Upper House.
Why was the 1967 referendum important
Because it redid all of the unfair laws against aboriginal Australians and gave them rights and were thereafter counted in the national census.
What was the 1999 Referendum about?
Australia potentially becoming a republic
Describe the Governor General’s role in parliament.
His role is mainly traditionally as he represents the Queen and signs bills to make them laws called the passing of arms.
What is preferential voting?
Preferential voting is when people order their ballot with 1 2 3 4… and each round the representative with the least votes is eliminated and their voters 2nd choice becomes their first.
Who is in charge of education
The state government.
What is a primary source?
A primary source is a source from the time being studied.
