A genetic disorder is a genetic problem caused by one or more abnormalities in the genome.
DNA

The genome of an organism is the whole of its hereditary information encoded in its DNA
Hereditary
Genetic information that is passed down from our parents
Assimilation
refers to fitting new information or experiences into an existing idea.
Accomidation
refers to altering existing ideas, and forming new ideas, as a result of learning new information or having new experiences.
