Q

How does lymphoedema differ from the peripheral oedema seen in heart failure?

A

lymphedema is non-pitting and caused by lymphatic dysfunction

Q

Explain what Vmax and Km are

A
Vmax= maximal rate when all enzyme active sites are saturated with substrate
Km= substrate concentration that gives half the maximal velocity
