Explain how a farmer can selectively breed for a desired characteristic in an organism

A

1) The farmer should determine the individuals desired characteristics in a population
2) Select a male and female with the desired characterisitcs and breed them together
3) Out of their offspring breed together the male and female offspring who inherited the inherited characterisitcs
4) Repeat this process until all of the offspring have the desired characterisitc
