What are some of the symptoms that can occur during a seizure?
A
- Visual hallucinations
- Inability to speak
- Convulsions
- Loss of muscle tone
- Staring
- Falling down
- Biting the tongue
- Loss of control of the bladder or bowels

How is epilepsy defined?
A
Either two or more seizures, or a tendency to have recurrent seizures

What are some of the barriers for people with seizure disabilities?
A
- Activities in which a loss of consciousness could cause serious harm (e.g. swimming, bathing, using power tools)
- Driving
- Moving, blinking, or flickering content in videos, films, websites, or other animation
- Web browsers and media players that do not provide controls to turn off videos or other animation with content that flashes or flickers
