A
Less of consciousness, erratic movement muscular movements, grunting noises

How do you manage a seizure
A
Lay flat
15 l oxygen non rebreathe mask
Check seizure care plan

What do you do if seizure less than 5 min
A
Check ABCDE and treat as you find safe discharge if okay after management through post icatal phase

What to do if seizure longer than 5 minutes
A
Ring 999 only don’t do this if care plan says otherwise and pt has history of prolonged seizures
Give 10 mg buccal midazolam if pt has known prolonged seizures
