What were the intentions of the KKK?
to terrorise people from a specific background, mainly targeted at black people who held political beliefs such as anti-immigration. They used physical assault and murder to supplement through their popularity and victims in a way of protesting and portraying their own white supremacy.
What are the limitations of the KKK source?
It only tells us one area this is happening. Whereas in some states of America there could be different types of racism and segregation occurring.

How open the KKK was about their organism and the brutality of their terrorism such as lynchings. However this source could possibly be propaganda or a way of making headlines within the nation. As photographers took this.

Civil rights gained more momentum during this time. However a large chunk of southern states are still the main reports of there being more racial tension.
