theft, substance abuse, employee theft to include theft of crime, white collar crime

Fires and explosions, terrorism, bomb threats, riots, civil disturbances, strike/picket actions, hazardous material accidents, natural disaster accidents, medical emergencies, evacuations

What are the circumstances when arrest without a warrant is authorized by a security guard?
felony when they in fact committed such felony
What is the Standard of proof?
requires the offense was in fact committed, no hunch, no guesswork, or even reasonable belief may support an arrest. It has to be 100% happened.
What are the Security guard arrest procedures steps
Inform them of why they are under arrest, deliver person without delay to police, tell them your authority to make the arrest
When can a security guard use deadly force?

general statements and principles that incorporate moral and ethical principles and philosophies and is the measure of a person’s conduct against standard behavior

Some examples of unethical behavior are
excessive force, false arrest and detention, illegal search and seizure, impersonation of a police or peace officer, any act of dishonesty, failure to report a criminal act and or violation of company policies and rules, accepting bribes, falsify reports and exhibiting favoritism.
Primary responsibility of a security officer (Code of Ethics)
to protect life and property, reduce crime committed and deter crime, high moral principles, truthfully without bias or prejudice, report all violations of law or rule, respect and protect information, cooperate with all recognized law enforcement agencies in jurisdiction, accept no compensation/gratuity, professional actions at all times, continually train to better performance.
