where the raw materials are manufactured into products that match the customers requirements

Newer machines make it quicker and more efficient to make products with less operating staff
What is the tertiary sector?
The jobs/ businesses that sell a product, or provide a service

What does ‘polarised’ mean?
When top end jobs, like bankers and politicians rely on smaller industries like cleaners and caterers
What is the public sector?
Organisations the government provide for the publics benefit
What is the private sector?
Any other employee that is not employed by the government
What is informal employment?
Employment that’s semi-legal e.g.- helping out a friend (won’t be paying tax)
