When registering a new or used vehicle, how many days do you have to register it?

When registering your vehicle, what documents do you need to show at the state license office?
- Renewal notice that you received in the mail from the state.
- Receipt that you paid property tax on the vehicle in the previous year.
- Current driver’s license.
- Proof of automotive insurance.
- Receipt of emissions inspection, if applicable. It mainly pertains to older vehicles.
If involved in a car crash, what should you do? Give some suggestions.
- Move your vehicle to the shoulder of the road or parking lot if it’s a minor accident.
- Help if anyone is hurt. Check the scene first to avoid putting yourself in danger.
- Call 911 in request for a police officer, fire truck, and/or ambulance.
- Set up flares or reflectors under poor weather conditions.
- Exchange personal information with the other driver(s) such as name, address, phone number, license plate, and auto insurance.
- Inform insurance agent of the accident.
What does “steer it and clear it” mean?
Move your vehicle to the shoulder of the road or parking lot to avoid secondary car crashes.
In Missouri, older, not newer, vehicles are required to undergo safety inspection. What will a licensed mechanic be inspecting on the vehicle?
Mechanic will simply make sure that all parts–headlights, brakes, taillights, tires, seat belts, hort, exhaust system, mirrors, etc.–are in working order.
What type of driver’s license is required to drive a commercial truck?
Class A, B, or C
