A

this is because cruises are short term whilst hotel tourists are long term. and hotel tourists stay in the area creating multiplier effect in the area for locals as they stay there for more then one day

A

this is because it can reduce development gap very well. multiplier effect plays a big role in this as lots of shops get visited and money gets spent. it also created social and economic opportunities. produces employment opportunities. more income and help develop.

yes - reduce cruise traffic by 50%, increases time spent on island instead of waiting to get off the boat, less air pollution, more money spent on island
no - damage wildlife and habitats, dredging coral reef, destroys some of local businesses eg diving to look at coral reef
