Metal roof: standard seam roofs….use S-clamps. Does not pierce hole in roof. Make sure proper flashing is used and there is no leakage
Cement tile roofs: use their own cement tile racking

What is an advantage of ground mount?

What is flashing?
Flashing is one of the most important things you can do when attaching anything to the roof. Flashing is the overlapping of materials so that water travels across the surface rather than get behind the material. Make certain that you’re always using flashing anytime you penetrate a roof.
What are some fire code guidelines for solar?
3 feet on each side of an array for firefighter access to ventilate roof in case of fire
Marking must be red background, white lettering, all capital letters, etc
