What is the difference between a users needs and wants
A users needs is something that the product has to contain or have and is a vital part of the product, wants are something that is desirable but not necessary
What questions would you consider asking a stakeholder
Asking them about personal preference and anything relating to their experiences with similar products
How would you change your questions based on if your doing a one on one interview compared to a focus group
Broadening the questions so many people could answer when interviewing a focus group but ask more close lined questions with a single person
What is ease of use and why is it important
Ease of use is how easy is it to use the product and if it requires multiple steps to function if it is too complex it can push potential users away
What is iterative design
A circular process of sketching modelling and evaluating to create the best possible product by fixing flaws in previous iterations
What is brand strength
It is how valuable a company is and how much influence their products have over the population
What does trademark product mean
Its is where the companies logo is on a product to show that it is their product and that increases brand strength

Final testing
Approval and launch
Setting targets
Feedback and client evaluation
Trend forecasting and working on future designs

Transport
Competition
Material
Wages
Taxes
Marketing

Designing
Researching
What are the three organisations that monitor standards, safety and risks of products
BSI
ISO
CE
What are the different kinds of testing
Destructive testing
None destructive testing
Consumer testing
Accelerated testing
Design engineering testing
What is consumer appeal
Making the consumer want to buy the product by having the product seem appealing and attracting to them
What is taken into consideration when packaging a product
Materials
The colour of the packaging
Production schedules
Any other functions
Impact on the environment

The packaging might have things like foam inside of it to cushion any possible blows that the product might endure
