Define Logistics
Logistics is the process of organizing the movement of goods to each part of the supply chain, to ensure that they avaiable for production when needed to ensure that the product reaches the final customer in time
Define supply chain
Supply chain is a representation of all the organizations and steps involved in producing a product to delivering it to the final customer
What is foward logistics
Foward logistics is the organization of the flow of goods from the producer to the end user
What is reverse logistics
Reserve logistics is the organization of the reverse flow of goods such as when a customer returns an item to the producer

Producers grow or mine raw materials and will supply manufacturerses

Multi-modal transport is where goods are transported under a single contract using more than one mode a transport
What is inter-modal transport
Inter-modal transport is where goods are transported in an inter-modal container and there is no handling of the goods when changing mode of transport
What is an import licsense
Import licsense is a document granting permission for an individual to import restricted goods
What is bill of lading
Bill of lading is a document used to transport goods via sea or cargo ships and provides the shipper with information to process the shipment of goods properly

Airway bill is a document used in air transport and is a contract between the shipper and the air carrier.
