A condition that occurs in over 50% of new borns, causes the baby’s skin and eyes to look slightly yellow. It occurs when the liver can’t remove bilirubin. Causes severe damage to the nervous system

Rooming-in
Full rooming-in means that the baby remains with the mother in her room during the entire hospital stay. Partial rooming-in means that the baby stays in the nursery part of the time, such as during the night
