Describe some of the movement content from PIB.
There are times when tht male dancer ‘depends’ on the trio and is supported by them during jumps, lifts, spins and backwards leaning motions.
Explain the use of musicality in relation to PIB.
During the opening of the dance, the female dancers all stomp on stage from stage left in time with the drum beats.
On the line “I see a red door and I want to paint it black”, the female dancers perform a provocative routine in the background of the males solo, alongside the repetition of the lyrics throughout the song.
Upon the songs change of pace, the choreography will also change their dynamic e.g. at the end of the second chorus, the male soloist moves from fast and intricate movements to a slow floor motif.
