The minimum temperature where a liquid will give off vapors in sufficient quantity to be ignited if an ignition source is present.

Those materials which have a flashpoint below 100ºF.

Those materials with a flashpoint at or above 100ºF.

The minimum temperature where a material will ignite spontaneously without the use of an ignition source.
