The glorious Revolution was when Parliament invited William and Mary to take over the throne-they had to sign the English bill of rights which meant that Parliament had to to check up every 3 years (very controlling)

is the exsistence of which acts as a supreme law that limits the power of the government and outlines the rights of citizens(government ruled by constitution)

the restoration was banishing Cromwell’s puritan ways and inviting Charles son- Charles II back to rule which then he brought back fun things band under the puritan rule. didn’t enforce anti catholic.
Why did the execution of monarch Charles I sent shock waves throughout Europe
It was the first time that ever happened; monarchs were considered divinely appointed or untouchable, effectively marking a significant break from traditional power structures (made it look like monarch didn’t have all the power if they died)

a prime minister is head of the cabinet, which is a small group of Parliament that advised monarch
what did the English bill of rights mean to the Parliament
The English Bill of Rights established the supremacy(power) of Parliament over the monarchy. It required the monarch to summon Parliament regularly. King or queen could no longer interfere in parliamentary debates or suspend laws.
How did the belief in divine right conflicted/ disagree with the Glorious Revolution and its outcome
Divine right meant that god himself called them gods and made the monarchs have abosolute power while glorious revolution was paraliment having all the power, limiting monarchs power which led to limited monarchy. it asserted the king’s power came solely from God and was not subject to the will of Parliament, while the Glorious Revolution essentially established the supremacy of Parliament over the monarch, effectively rejecting the idea of absolute and paving the way for a more limited monarchy.
