Why did the British, trekboers and Xhosa all respect Andries Stockenstrom?
- He tried to be fair to both white settlers and the Xhosa.

Why were the trekboers angry when the British ended slavery?
- Trekboers depended on slave labour and thought it would cost them alot more to farm successfully.
