Potassium sparing diuretics eg spirinolactone

ARBs? eg losartan
Potassium containing fluids
If a patient is allergic to penicillin, what kinds of drug(s) do you stop?
Penicillins of course
eg Co-Amoxacillin!
also, Tazocin!
any other Antibiotic ending in -cillin
Common Contraindications.
- Drugs that cause bleeding -x-> bleeding
- Steroids -x-> side effects and Cx: “STEROIDS”
- NSAIDS -x-> Side effects and Cx: “NSAID”
- Hypotensives
Common side effect of ACEi’s?
Dry cough
Common side effect of beta blockers?
Wheeze in asthamtics, acute HF exacerbation

Peripheral oedema, flushing
Common side effect of diuretics?
Renal failure
