Q

What are some choice ways to buy more time during the exam?

A

Spend less time on easy questions, more on hard ones.

Apply the mindset!!

Don’t spend too long on hard questions! Mark for review and move on. Select an answer and come back to it later and move on. Stay under 60 seconds on a difficult question. When at end of section, go back and review if you want.

Q

What is the secret to passing?

A
  1. Understand the concepts and don’t memorize them. Don’t memorize terms, but understand them. DO I understand this? Where am I going to use this? How am I going to use this?
  2. Do not apply your work experience. What you do at work isn’t what you do at work! The more experience you have, the more likely you will fail. Blank minds tend to do better than minds that are influenced/biased from work experience. It’s not about experience, it’s about best practices from PMI.
  3. Apply the PMI Project Manager Mindset (last section)
