• Light Wind, Heavy Swells - Parallel to Swells
Wing Flaps - 20 to 30 Degrees
Power - Establish 300 ft./min
Door - Unlatch
Touch Down - Level Attitude with Minimum Rate of Descent
Impact - Cushion Face with Folded Coat
Evacuate - Through Cabin Door
Life Vest and Raft - Inflate
Engine Fire in Flight

Mixture - Idle Cut-off Fuel Selector Valve - Off Master Switch - Off Cabin Heat and Air - Off Airspeed - 100 KIAS (If fire is not extinguished, increase glide speed) Force Landing - Execute

- Check audio panel setting
- Check headset
- Try other radio
- Try air band
- Try cell phone
- Set Squawk 7600
- Report destination 50 NM Radius
- Observe traffic pattern
- Join downwind
- Altitude 800 ft. AGL
