A

self-compassion involves being open to/moved by one’s own suffering, being non judgemental towards failures, feeling care/kindness towards oneself, realizing one’s experience is part of the human experience.

CFT is compassion focused therapy and was developed by Paul Gilbert as a transdiagnostic approach to help people with feelings of shame and self-criticism
