What is Class 1 and 2?
Protection to the worker and environment
What does class 2 also include
Preventing external contamination to the materials
What is class three?
Glove box, which gives the most protection to the worker and environment
What are secondary barriers?
The design and construction of laboratories
What does the 4 bio safety levels mean?
The risk of level defined by the organisms, infect, Tiffany or severity of disease
What is BSL-1 organism?
Not known to cause disease in a healthy adult human
What is BSL 2
Organisms that are moderately risk, causing human disease
What is BLS 3
Organisms that cause respiratory disease in humans
What is BSL 4
Organisms that are extremely dangerous and have a high risk is life-threatening disease
What does transient mean for bacteria ?
Bacteria that is easily removable from your skin by washing hands or body
What does resident mean?
Bacteria that are in deeper layers of the skin, making them harder to remove by washing
