A resource that will run out. Eg: oil, coal
What is an infinite resource?
Source which will never run out. Eg: solar energy, wood
What is technology push?
A product, which has no consumer awareness or demand
What is market pull?
When a product is produced in response to demand or market force
How are there changes in fashion trends?
Changing technology influences fashion trends. Eg: Smartwatches, 3D-printing
How could you respect faith and beliefs?
Incorporate designs that allow customers to dress more modestly; may choose to not use animal ingredients
Pros of CAD
efficienct, accurate, save time
Cons of CAD
Expensive to set up, skilled workforce, electricity needed
What is CAM
Computer aided manufacture, uses machines to cut out parts
Pros and Cons of CAM
Fast and accurate, machines can run constantly; expensive, skilled workforce of engineers
What is FMS?
Flexible Manufacturing systems; be reprogrammed, recalibrated
What is Just in time (JIT) manufacturing?
Items which are created as they are needed
