Sociological scientific inquires aim to:
Determine the logical patterns of regular social life
Hypothesis:
Statement of the relationship between two or more concepts(Variables), based on what you expect to observe in the empirical world.
-a little more specific than a theory
Conceptualization:
Clearly spelling out in words what you mean when you use a certain concept in your hypothesis
Operalization:
The process of transforming abstract ideas into a set of concrete indicators that can be observed and measured
Research process:
Paradigms, theory, hypothesis, conceptualization, operalizanation, data collection, analysis of data, tie back to theory.
