Details of the Second Battle of St Albans
Warwick leads opposition against the Lancastrians who advance towards London. Warwick was accompanied by many nobles such as his uncle the Duke of Fauconberg. Warwick takes Henry VI to the battle to display that they are fighting in the name of the King. On the Lancastrian side there are many nobles and Henry VI’s son Prince Edward is also there.
Outcome of the Second Battle of St Albans
Yorkists were outnumbered and therefore it was a Lancastrian success. Warwick and most of the other Yorkist nobles escaped - and Henry VI was recaptured by the Lancastrians.
