Section 15 SAS 2012
A Constable without a warrant may enter and search a place if they have reasonable grounds
1) Suspect an offence punishable by a 14 years or mora has been or about to be committed.
2) Evidential material is inside that place.
3) if delayed to get a search warrant evidential material will be Concealed, Altered, Damaged or Detroy
Section 16, SAS 2012
A Constable May search a person without a warrant in a public place if a Constable has reasonable grounds to believe that the person is in possession of evidential material relating to an offence punishable by imprisonment of 14 years or more
Section 17, SAS 2012
A Constable without a warrant may enter and search a vehicle in a public place if they have reasonable grounds to believe that evidential material relating to an offence punishable be a term of 14yrs or more is inside or on the vehicle
Section 20 SAS 2012
A Constable May enter and search a place or vehicle if the believe on reasonable grounds
1) Suspect an offence against the MODA has been or about to be committed
2) Reasonable grounds to believe evidential material relating to the offence is inside the vehicle or place
3) if delayed to obtain a search warrant CADD will occur.
Section 22, SAS 2012
A Constable may search a person if the believe on reasonable grounds
1) Suspect an offence against the MODA has been or about to be committed
2) Reasonable grounds to believe evidential material relating to the offence is inside the vehicle or place
3) if delayed to obtain a search warrant CADD will occur.
