Missing Aircraft Notification. Once an AC has been reported missing, a MANOT will be sent to nearby ATS units and broadcast over 126.7. If a pilot hears this, they should keepa a lookout and monitor 121.5 if possible.

VHF Direction Finding

Slowly being phased out but is something established at a few FSS (will be listed in the CFS under the COM section).

It displays your bearing from the station to the controller at the station. Controller will say “transmit for bearing” and then you hold the mic key for 3-5 seconds and they can give you direction

7500 followed by 7700 means you’ve been hijacked and it has gotten so bad that you are requesting armed intervention
