  • Definition: Stiffening of the heart muscles, restricting proper filling of the heart chambers.
    • Causes: Amyloidosis, hemochromatosis, sarcoidosis, and certain connective tissue disorders.
    • Symptoms: Fatigue, swelling, breathing difficulties, irregular heartbeats.
    • Treatment: Address underlying causes, medications to manage symptoms.
