Explain stage one in the scriptwriting process.
A logline is one or two sentences that will summarize your story in an intriguing manner. (No more than 30 words.)
Explain stage two in the scriptwriting process.
An outline is where you begin to chronicle your story in sequences using the three-act structure. It breaks down the movement of the story plot by plot and is the beginning of structure formation.
What are the names of the three stages in the three-act structure?
The Setup
The Confrontation
The Resolution
Explain what should be in each act of the three-act structure.
Act 1 introduces your characters and settings and features an inciting incident.
Act 2 sees characters encounter an obstacle as the story advances into a catastrophe.
Act 3 is where there is a resolution.
Explain what takes place in stage 3 of the scriptwriting process.
This is where you start building the world that your story takes place in. Expound yourself to it and write your whole story scene by scene. Treatments are a more in-depth version of your outline.
What happens in stage 4 of the scriptwriting process?
Write your script. Understand the formatting. Right in the present tense period, conscience is critical.
What happens in the last stage of the script-writing process?
Edit, edit, edit. Your first draft is never your last draft. Read it multiple times and get others to proofread it. Seek advice on your writing with persons who love fiction.
