Leukoplakia
- once confirmed malignant it is no longer called leuokoplakia
- a white patch that wont wipe off
- no obvious trauma

What is field cancerisation?
A
- A biological process in which large areas of cells at a tissue surface are affected by carcinogenic altercations
- Patients can have multiple synchronised lesions or can go on to develop lesions one after another at different sites
