What is in the 5in1 vaccination?
Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, and haemophilus influenza b
When is the pneumococcal jab given?
2, 4 and 12-13 months

2 and 3 months
When is the Men C vaccine given?
3 months, 12-13 months and teenage 13-15 booster
When is the Hib/MenC booster given?
12-13 months

12-13 months, 3 yrs+4months
Children’s flu vaccine?
Can be given at 2, 3 and 4 year via nasal spray at the beginning of flu season (sept or oct)

What do you need to avoid in MCAD deficiency?
Fasting
What needs to be given and restricted in isovaleric acidaemia?
Give glycine, restrict leucine
When must hearing screening be done by and when is it normally done?
Must be done by 4-5 weeks, typically done before discharge from hospital
What 2 tests are carried out for hearing screening?
Automated Oto Acoustic Emission test (AOAE)
Automated Auditory Brainstem Response test (AABR)
