Reliability

A

refers to how consistently a method measures something. If the same result can be consistently achieved by using the same methods under the same circumstances, the measurement is considered reliable. If the results of an experiment are consistant, and there is a minimum of three trials then that means the experiment is reliable.

Validity

A

refers to whether the procedures in it accurately measure what was intended to be measured (whether it answers the aim and whether it was a fair test). Needs to have one independant variable, one dependant variable and multiple control variables.
