A

It was created by Francis Bacon. For a proper experiment:

  1. Think about a problem or develop a purpose question
  2. Research/ Observe/ Provide previous knowledge
  3. Come up with a Hypothesis
  4. Conduct the Experiment
  5. Collect and Analyze the Data
  6. Develop the Conclusion
  7. Further questioning

Ptolemy

A

He had a theory that was that the Earth was the center of the universe in the 100’s and for over 1,000 years that is what people believed. It was called the Geometric Theory.

Nicolaus Copernicus

A

A polish astronomer who is believed to spark the beginning of the scientific revolution by publishing a book called “On The Revolution Of The Celestial Spheres “. He was the one who believed that the Earth and planets revolved around the sun, but died before proving this.

A

Italian scientist who proved Copernicus right. He was also one of the first to see the sky through a telescope, and liked studying the stars and planets.

Isaac Newton

A

The peak of the Scientific Revolution came when Sir Isaac published his book “Principia Mathematica” in 1687. He was one of the greatest scientists to ever live. He even created the laws of gravity and motion (most famous ones).
