Water Cycle
The cycle where water goes through condensation, evaporation, precipitation, etc.
Carbon Cycle
The cycle where carbon is released through the air and back into the soil
Nitrogen Cycle
The cycle where Nitrogen goes through the ground, then gets mixed with 4 different types of bacteria, and finally gets released back into the air again
Biome
A given area with abiotic Factors, biotic Factors, and community’s with all different species
Producer
An organism that makes its own food and does not consume other organisms
Consumer
An organism that does not make its own food and consumes other organisms
Decomposer
Breaks down dead and decaying organisms then puts them back into the soil
Predator
Something that hunts and eats another organism (its prey)
Prey
Something that gets hunted and eaten by a predator
Mutualism
A relationship where both species benefit
Commensalism
A relationship where one animal benefits and the other isn’t harmed
Parasitism
A relationship where one species benefits and the other is harmed
