Deforestation means that trees, carbon sinks, are cut down releasing carbon into the air. Also, when they are dead, no carbon can be taken in from them.
Another example is burning fossil fuels. This means that factories burn fossil fuels meaning that heat gets trapped within Earth’s atmosphere.
