It is anything in nature that God made for people’s use

Conserve means to use a natural resource wisely and not waste it

To turn the lights off when you leave the room

Fossil fuel was formed when the remains of plans and animals when they were buried quickly.

Why should people conserve natural resources?
Because God told us to care for the earth
What are the three R’s and what is an example of each?
- Reuse- reusing an old can for pencils, reuse plastic bags for trash cans… 2. Reduce- turn off water when not in use, turn off lights…3. Recycle- recycle plastic bottles, cardboard and old tires.
A girl lives in a home and her backyard slopes. When it rains, the soil from her hill washes down the slope. She planted some plants on the hill and now there is less soil washing down the hill. Explain what is happening to the hill in the backyard (erosion) and why the girl bought plants to put on the hill.
