A protist is a eukaryotic organism that cannot be classified as a fungus, plant, or animal.
What is a parasite?
A parasite is an organism that feeds on another organism.
What are saprophytes?

What is the study of fungi?
Mycology
What are the 3 ways that protists move?
- Amoebas move using a pseudopodia, or a fake foot
- Euglena move using a flagella, a whiplike structure.
- Paramecium move using cilia. The move by beating their cilia.
what is a protozoan?
A protozoan is a single-celled organism that moves and eats food.
What are phytoplankton?

What are hyphae?
Hyphae are thin filaments that are on multicellular fungi
What is mycelium?
Mycelium is a tangled mass of hyphae
What are amoebas, euglena, and paramecium?
Amoebas are single-celled protists that use a pseudopodia. A euglena is a single-celled photosynthetic protist that use a flagellum to move to light. Paramecium are single-celled protist that have cells with cilia.
