science cka revision Flashcards
Cells and other stuff idk really whats there
what are the structures of a plant cell (theres 8 listed but dont need to get them all)
nucleus, chloroplasts, mitochondria, a permanent vacuole, cytoplasm, cell wall, cell membrane, ribsomes,
what are the structures of an animal cell cell (theres 5 listed but dont need to get them all)
nucleus, mitochondria, cytoplasm, cell membrane, ribosomes
what is photosynthesis and its word equation
photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen. carbon dioxide + water —> glucose + oxygen + water
what is the structure of the atom
the structure of an atom includes a nucleus (centre) in which the protons (positively charged) and neutrons (neutral) are. The negatively charged particles called electrons which are on the shells around the nucleus
how to work out the neutrons protons and electrons in an atom
the protons and electrons are the atomic number (the bottom number) and to find to neutrons you subtract the mass number and the atomic number
