Claim is a statement that answers a question (a claim can be right or wrong based on what you think)
What is a Evidence?
Evidence is a scientific data that supports the claim
What is a Reasoning?
Reasoning explains “how” and “why” the evidence supports or doesn’t support the claim
What are three things to include when writing a CER response?
- If the claim was correct or incorrect
- Evidence directly from a scientific resource
- Reason “how” and “why” the evidence supports or doesn’t support the claim

Give direct, scientific information
