What is peer review?
A process whereby scientists critique each other’s work and decide whether it meets the standards of the scientific community
Name the six steps of the scientific method.
Question, Hypothesis, Experiment, Observation, Analysis, Conclusion
What is density?
Mass/volume
What is the factor-label method? (Dimensional analysis)
A method which allows to convert a number from one unit to another
What is the dependent variable?
A factor being measured in an experiment, which changes in response to the independent variable
What is the independent variable?
Factor considered to be constant, which affects the dependent variable
What is Kelvin?
An absolute scale (doesn’t go negative) for measuring temperature
What is the x-axis?
The horizontal axis in line graphs
What is the y-axis?
The vertical axis in line graphs
