17
Q

write out an equation for neutralisation

A

Acid + Base => water + Salt

18
Q

Define Titration

A

titrations allow you to find out how much acid is needed to neutralise a base

19
Q

name 3 pieces of equipment needed for titration

A

Pipette
Burette
White Tile

20
Q

What is energy?

A

the ability to do work

21
Q

What is
Potential
Kinetic
Chemical
Light
Heat
Elecrical
Sound
Nuclear
Energy?

A

Potential - Energy due to happen as of its position or shape
Kinetic - Energy when an object is in motion
Chemical - Energy stored in chemicals such as food, batteries and fuels
Light - this is usually from the sun and provide light
Heat - fires provide heat
Elecrical - wire carrying electricity can be used to supply energy
Sound - form of kinetic energy created when objects viberate
Nuclear - the nueclues of a atom stores alot of energy and when it splits this energy

22
Q

The princible of conversion energy…

A

cannot be created or destroyed but changed from one to another

23
Q

Sustainablity is…

A

the conservation of balance in the worlds ecology indefinetly

24
Q

name 3 energy sources

A

Fire
Sun
Fossil fuels

25
Q

Look over Carbon cycle

A
26
Q

Look over Water Cycle

A
27
Q
  1. Using the words in the list, complete the sentence.
    Newtons push direction pull speed
    A force is a ________ or a __________ that changes the shape, ___________ or
____________ of an object. It is measured in ____________.
A

A Force is a Push or a Pull that changes the shape, direction or speed of an object. It is measured in Newtons

28
Q

What is Friction?.

A

when two objects move in opposing motions

29
Q

What reduces friction within an object?

A

Lubrication

30
Q

2 advantages and 2 disadvantages of a world with no gravity

A

Jumping higher, less fuel needed in cars since the friction of the car being lesser due to no gravity in the world

May float away as gravity keeps us from that, less oxygen due to it floating into the universe as of no gravity the atmosphere would not be their either

31
Q
  1. Using a diagram to show your idea, design an experiment to show that forces often act in pairs.
A

With the diagram above i can show that they work in pairs due to using the tires they oppose the motion of the road meaning that you need two objects working against each other to get the force of friction

32
Q

Name 5 forces

A

Pull
Push
Gravity
Fricition
Electrical
